ABOUT
Deadeye Red Blend by Provenance Vineyards lives at the creative intersection of careful vineyard selection and winemaker’s expertise in blending. The Deadeye icon draws directly from the Provenance logo, where the crosshairs symbol sits over the “O,” signifying our winemaking precision.
PROFILE
Expressive aromas of ripe black cherry, blackberry and dark chocolate invite the senses, complemented by subtle notes of clove and spice. The palate showcases structured tannins rounded out by exuberant red berry fruits and vanilla bean flavors. The wine is deliciously chewy, round and plush.
VINEYARD
Our Red Blend is selected from specific lots from outstanding Napa Valley vineyards, including St. Helena, Howell Mountain, Oakville and Spring Mountain.
WINEMAKING
Care is taken to night harvest each block for optimal maturity. For gentle extraction of varietal character, we cold soak the must before fermentation. The wine spends 18 months in barrels, racking every three months to let the wine breathe and develop our signature mouthfeel and texture.

Rich, jammy nose saturated with sweet blackberries, chocolate, prunes and heavily roasted spices and tar. Flavorful and full-bodied with plush, ripe black fruit and fine-grained tannins. Long and rich finish, even though it is a little heavy. Drink now.”

“Ripe-blackcurrant, stewed-blackberry, mint-chocolate, charred-bark and mocha aromas. It’s full-bodied with round, sleek tannins. Intense bitter-chocolate and dark-berry notes on the finish. Chewy. Give it time to come together. Drink from 2023.”
