Provenance Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc

Pale straw-yellow in color. Fragrant and expressive; vibrant aromas of lemongrass, pineapple, and guava meld with subtle undertones of honeycomb and tart citrus. The palate opens with notes of melon, ripe pineapple, and crisp green apple. These flavors round on the finish with a gentle touch of mineralogy. Bright acidity ties all the flavors together and this wine is best enjoyed chilled. This wine pairs wonderfully with crab cakes, smoked salmon, lemon chicken or spicy Caribbean fare.
The North Coast AVA is an American Viticultural Area in the state of California that encompasses grape-growing regions in six counties located north of: Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Napa, Sonoma, and Solano. This large appellation covers over 3,000,000 acres and includes a number of smaller sub-appellations that all share the common ecology trait of weather affected by the fog and breezes off the Pacific Ocean. Vineyards closer to the coast will receive more moisture from the coastal fog, and create wines with a delicate and nuanced flavor profile Those vineyards further inland experience much warmer day time temperature and develop into wines with bolder flavors and acidity, with a big punch of color. The ability to create unique blends from within this region gives our winemaker the opportunity to take advantage of all the benefits from this unique AVA and develop wines that have distinct color, aroma, flavor and mouthfeel.
Sauvignon Blanc
Grapes were pressed as whole clusters and then fermented the juice in stainless steel tanks. This tank fermentation method allows the  wine to capture Sauvignon Blanc's lively fruit expression and bright, crowd-pleasing acidity.
